Most of the MA programs on offer through PGSL are at Université Paris Cité, and one is a joint Université Sorbonne Nouvelle/Inalco program. It is designed as a feeder for the associated doctoral program. PGSL draws on the Master’s programs at Université Paris Cité, and has long-term institutional partnerships with Université Sorbonne Nouvelle and Inalco. A Master’s degree with many options in order to create an individualized academic path This will provide students with solid preparation to carry out subsequent doctoral research, either in the affiliated doctoral program (through which PhD funding is available) or elsewhere. Throughout the program, students are expected to work closely with an academic advisor and a student mentor (who is enrolled in a PhD program) and to participate actively in academic seminars and research projects. Upon entering the Master’s program, students will devise a scientific project with the graduate program's faculty and researchers. A two-year Master's track to prepare students for doctoral research and beyond Key figures: 113 faculty members and researchers, 12 postdocs, 140 master's students, 116 PhD students. Prior knowledge of French is not required. Research plays a central part in the curriculum, and students also take elective courses to develop an interdisciplinary outlook. It offers a comprehensive curriculum integrating advanced study and research, in close connection with PhD programs as well as with the Empirical Foundations of Linguistics consortium.
